Greens Garden at REAP

9300 E. 75th Street, Raytown, MO

Raytown Emergency Assistance Program developed this garden to provide fresh produce to those in need.  The garden currently features 15 raised beds.   The garden is enclosed, has water access, and is located near the REAP building.  Spring and summer planting of vegetables is done and produce is donated to REAP clients weekly.

Our Extension Master Gardener volunteers provide gardening support to plant, maintain, and harvest the garden. They are on-site Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings during the growing season from 9-11am and are available to answer gardening questions.  They also provide educational information to REAP clients through produce distribution, one-on-one consultation, small group discussion and formal workshops.
