Earth Keepers – A Native Wildlife Event

Join Lakeside Nature Center for a wildlife event to learn how to be an earth keeper and support wildlife and habitats. Participate in a scheduled guided hike, come indoors to learn about initiatives to support wildlife, and meet a broad-wing hawk. The Master Gardeners of Greater Kansas City Children’s Program will be teaching children about how fallen leaves create habitats for bugs. Children will dig in the dirt and leaves to find and identify worms and bugs.
