DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the Ruby Throated Hummingbird as they prepare to migrate. Presentations and activities scheduled throughout the weekend that will intrigue any bird lover.\nThursday\, September 4: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.\n10 a.m. – Noon: Make a hummingbird perch from the DeWitt Center\n1 p.m. – 1:45 p.m.: Learn about hummingbird migration. Presentation is in Eva Cooper Lodge at the Nature Park.\nFriday\, September 5: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. \n10 a.m. – Noon: Make a hummingbird perch from the DeWitt Center\n1 p.m. – 1:45 p.m.: Learn how to attract hummingbirds to your yard. Presentation takes place in Eva Cooper Lodge at the Nature Park.\nSaturday\, September 6: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.\n8 a.m. – 10 a.m.: Professional hummingbird banding\, taking place behind Eva Cooper Lodge\n9 a.m. – 3 p.m.: Experience the MCPL Reading Rocket\n10 a.m. – Noon: Make a hummingbird perch in the DeWitt Center\n1 p.m. – 1:45 p.m.: Learn about hummingbird migration.
