SUMMARY:Golden Acres Plant Swap
DESCRIPTION:Gather up your plants\, seeds\, or gardening supplies and bring them to The Golden Acres clubhouse for a fun-filled plant swap with fellow gardeners. If you do not have anything to trade\, do not worry. Grab a few seed packets\, find some extra pots or tools in your garage\, or just stop by to check it out. There will be plenty of extra plants available for free. MU Extension Master Gardeners of Greater Kansas City (MGGKC) Children’s Program will present a fun activity about seeds. Children will learn about seeds\, their anatomy\, their importance as a food source and their contributions to our everyday life. They will learn to make a paper pot\, plant a seed\, and take it home.  \nFor more information and what you can bring to trade\, call Cheryl Beal at 816-560-4520 \nMay 17\, 10:00 am – 1:00 pm \nFriends and family are welcome.
